By adding a short finger device, moving the center of rotation,
you will give a lot of dynamic without changing your two fixpoints.
The South Pole is international territory. No one owns it, or the oil fields around it. The status is to be nogotiated in 2048, and only by having a scientific relation you have a word to say. WE WANT TO SIT AT THAT TABLE WHEN THE WORLD GOES BANANAS!
The Singer Mechanics!
ReplyDeleteDon't know exactly how this can be transferred to the model, but the Singer flagship is certainly worth taking into consideration when you want to create the mechanic server.
mmm.. squeeking cogwheels
ReplyDeletetotally agree.
ReplyDeletei'm having a slighter (temporary?) crisis managing the project at this moment (budget-, time- and conceptually-wise) so i think i have to stick to the "Update 6th of april"-principle in order to get this done.
also, this kind of structure needs a "fix-axis" in order to keep the wheel(s) in place, and it would not be possible to have on the any of upper joints, due to the overall constant movement of the structure.
however, it might be possible to have on the lower mother-joint.
Well let me put it this way; what happens in the principles of the Singer flagship, stays in the land of opportunities for at least the rest of our lives.
